Postbox. When we're not cracking the whip and offering the Packawhallop minions a harsh word to get then to speed along progress of our ContactSheet web app, we're using Postbox. And we like it!

This isn't an endorsement. We wouldn't endorse anything except our own exuberant and knowledgeable hosting services. But Postbox, which is partially based on the terribly named (our opinion) Mozilla Thunderbird, is good. It might even be better than Apple Mail, though we think search in both should be seriously beefed up. Postbox is certainly better than Windows Mail, or whatever it is Microsoft are confusingly calling Outlook Express these days. It might be what Thunderbird should be. And GMail? Please. We don't have time, and you don't have time, to hear the Packawhallop Word on GMail. That's a blog for another day. And we see on the closed circuit TV we recently installed that the Packawhallop lackeys are milling unproductively around the espresso maker. Back to work, you galley slaves!
